Who can apply?

The Cryocourse 2019 is aimed at PhD students, post-docs, young technicians and engineers from all European laboratories (EU member states and EU associated countries) with a keen interest in cryogenic applications over a wide range of topics (low temperature physics, cryogenic industry, particle detection, large scale facilities, space applications and so forth). Each participant is expected to present a poster (typically A0 size) regarding his/her research and/or engineering work.

What is provided by the organisers?

The accomodation and subsistence for the selected participants during the Cryocourse is fully covered, travel expenses (economy class flight tickets and transfer from and to the airport) will be reimbursed. The transfer between our two venues is provided free of charge. There is no participation fee. The support for eligible participants is granted under the condition of their presence during whole duration of the course and presentation of their poster during the scheduled poster session.

How to apply

Please, be ready to attach the all required documents (Diploma copy/scan, CV, motivation letter and poster abstract – more information below), then fill in and submit the registration form. A successful registration will be validated by the confirmation e-mail that will be automatically sent to you.

Important dates

The registration has been officialy closed.

Once the applications will be approved by the International advisory board, all registered applicants will be informed on acceptance by an e-mail.
